Official Sweepstakes Rules
1. Eligibility. This sweepstakes is open to all legal US residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. This sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Employees of Redband Broadcasting, their affiliates, subsidiaries; anyone working on this product, project, or promotion or at advertising and promotional agencies involved; and the immediate family members of each, are not eligible.
How to Enter. No purchase necessary. Entries will be accepted via email and Internet. Contest begins on Tuesday, November 13, 2001 and ends at 5:00 pm PST on Tuesday, December 14, 2001. All entries must be received by 5:00 pm PST December 14, 2001.
Entrants must provide their email address in order for the entry to be valid. Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of entry method. Subsequent entries from the same individual will be disqualified automatically. No responsibility is assumed by Redband Broadcasting, their affiliates, subsidiaries; anyone working on this product, project, or promotion or at advertising and promotional agencies involved; and the immediate family members of each for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or mutilated entries or any computer, online telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of Redband Broadcasting and will not be returned.
2. Winner Selection/Deadline. Dates. Dates. Prize winners will be selected from all eligible entries which have been properly submitted and received, according to the sweepstakes rules and guidelines. The winner will be selected by random drawing of all eligible entries. All decisions will be final.
3. Prizes. Prize package consists of the following items: Sony Disc player and entire Stevie Ray Vaughan catalog, including the just upcoming release double CD "Live at Montreux 1982 & 1985." No substitution or transfer of prize permitted, except that Redband Broadcasting reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value in the event the offered prize is unavailable. The per package value of this prize package is estimated at approximately $262.75 (includes 12 CDs and 1 CD player). Winners are responsible for all taxes, licenses and or fees in connection with this prize award and agree to hold harmless Redband Broadcasting, their affiliates, subsidiaries; anyone working on this product, project, or promotion or at advertising and promotional agencies involved; and the immediate family members of each. Prize package distribution is one national prize award.
4. General Conditions. Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of Redband Broadcasting which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this sweepstakes. This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Winners will be notified within forty-five (45) days after the drawing date. Winners may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days following the date of attempted notification.
Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Entrants further grant to Redband Broadcasting the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print in any other media in connection with the sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Redband Broadcasting, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this sweepstakes or any prize won.
5. Internet. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Redband Broadcasting which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Redband Broadcasting reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes. Redband Broadcasting assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Redband Broadcasting is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Redband Broadcasting on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes.
6. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
